'Buddy' under the scanner?
Director Raaj Prabavathy Menon's Buddy, which released yesterday, is in the midst of a controversy.
The film has been given an 'Adults Only' certificate by the censor board, but it has been reported that the posters of the film are not showing the A restriction, with due prominence.

Now, this is regarded as a serious offence, which could earn hefty fines and other punishments. The Censor Board, as per sources, has taken the matter seriously and has already sent directions to the film's producer to explain for the lapse in adhering to the regulations.
The theatres where A certified films are being shown will invite punishment if children below 18 years of age are allowed to enter and watch the show.
Buddy has Anoop Menon playing the lead, along with Bhumika Chawla and Asha Sarath.
